Halau Na Pua O Uluhaimalama performs Wednesday at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

The halau, dedicated to perpetuating the culture and the art of hula, is led by kumu hula Emery Aceret, a student of the revered kumu hula Ray Fonseca. The halau has participated in many notable hula competitions, including the Merrie Monarch Festival.

The performance will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Kilauea VIsitor Center Auditorium. Part of the park’s ongoing Na Leo Manu “Heavenly Voices” presentations, the event is free.
